These elevated levels are have been shown to be connected to heart disease, liver and kidney failure and overall increased health risks.
Small portion size is a great start in losing weight and these should be eaten several times throughout the day rather than large meals only two to three times a day. Office jobs have meant that we just do not need the food intake that we like to consume. Technology has reduced the number of physical activities that we engage in and we need to reduce our food intake to match
